Remember a year (or two) ago, selling was easy? It was the 'go go' days of SaaS and B2B tech. Everyone was buying.

Guess how much skill it took to close deals in those days? Not much. As a result, many of us lost sight of what it REALLY takes to close deals when you don't have the winds of a GUSTING economy at your back.

Now... selling through this economy... is hard. And it's probably going to be that way a while. Besides, winners do not rely on the economy (or anything else external) to dictate their success. Winners are a 'cause' in the world, not an effect. They make things happen rather than LET things happen to them.

Even when the economy rebounds, we aren't going back to the go-go days any time soon. And that means...

You're going to have to learn how to create and build business pain that MONEY follows.

Write this down: 'Money follows pain.'

People spend FAR more money on 'pain relief' than they do for positive benefits. Just ask any behavioral scientist worth their salt.

If your customer has little pain? You get little (or no) dollars.

Big pain? Big dollars. Simple.

So here's the key:

Learn to find, create, and build business pain that MONEY follows.

If you can't do that, none of the remaining lessons in this crash course will matter for much. They all rely on your ability to do this.
